When would I need this?
You need a custom application, want to replace a spreadsheet-based process, or spend too much time copying the same information between systems.
What will I receive?
- Web, mobile or desktop software scoped around a defined workflow
- Integrations that reduce copying between systems
- Clear permissions, testing, handover and operating documentation
What we need from you
- A walkthrough of the current process
- Sample data with personal information removed
- A decision-maker and the people who will use the system
How we work together
- Map the workflow and its constraints
- Agree a scope, acceptance criteria and delivery plan
- Build and review working increments
- Test with your team, hand over and agree support
A clear scope from the start
We agree deliverables, responsibilities and pricing after understanding the work. There is no fixed package price until the scope is clear.
- Hosting, third-party subscriptions and ongoing care are agreed separately.
- We do not promise a fixed delivery date before understanding dependencies.
Start with the work, not a feature list.
A spreadsheet passed between three people. The same order typed into two systems. A report that takes half a day to assemble. These are useful places to start a software conversation. We look at the people, information and decisions involved before deciding what needs to be built.
A system your team can take forward
The result should be more than a screen that works during a demonstration. We plan the rules, access, validation and everyday exceptions together, then agree how the system will be tested, operated and supported. Sometimes the sensible answer is a small integration or an improvement to software you already have.
Do we need a finished specification?
No. Bring a real example of the task, who is involved and where it becomes difficult. A short walkthrough is often more useful than a long feature list. We can define discovery and specification as part of the engagement.
Can you work with an existing system?
We first review access, documentation, data quality and the system’s integration options. Any third-party dependency, migration risk or ongoing licence cost is made part of the scope.
What happens after handover?
We agree responsibilities for hosting, updates, support and future changes. You receive the operating information included in the engagement rather than relying on an undocumented handover.
